This Charm City event is part of the 2nd annual National Association of Black Journalists Black Male Media Project.
The Baltimore NABJ chapter’s panel discussion will focus on the role of athletes and public figures in advocating for issues impacting the Black community. From #TakeAKnee to #StarbucksWhileBlack and even shopping at the Towson Apple store, Black men are coming under fire for standing up for their rights. The BABJ panel will explore all of this and more while looking for solutions.
