Please join the Baltimore Association of Black Journalists for our 5th Annual #BABJHoliday Hangout.
This party with a purpose will be held Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at 13.5% Wine Bar in Hampden. Here’s the address for your GPS, 1117 W 36th St, Baltimore, MD 21211.
As always this is a chill cool chance to celebrate another GREAT year and “hangout” with your BABJ family while dining at one of Baltimore’s eclectic hot spots.
This year’s #BABJHoliday will also serve as a blanket drive for 2 Save Souls Records and Spirit 2 Spirit Ministries’ blanket drive. Please bring new or gently used CLEAN blankets to the party. These will be later distributed to Maryland homeless individuals.

2014 – Our second #BABJholiday in 2014 BABJ collected gifts at Teavolve for the “It’s Kindertime” Toy Drive. (View photo gallery here)
2015 – We continued the season of giving tradition in 2015 with a coat and toy drive to benefit the Penn-North Kids Safe Zone in Sandtown. Several members also adopted 3 girls ages 8 and 11.
2016 – In 2016 we teamed up with Charm City Warmth Drive to help get winter protective gear to those weathering the winter on the streets. (View photos and video here)
