Baltimore Association of Black Journalists loves to kick off the summer season each year with a kick-back, cool-down mixer. But this year’s event is special because we have something to celebrate!
BABJ is proud to celebrate one of its own, Sam Davis, on his recent elevation to Managing Editor of the Baltimore Sun.
Sam is the first black managing editor in the newspaper’s 179-year history. News of his promotion quickly spread around the country and congratulatory salutes have poured in. Now it’s our turn!
Join us for a BABJ Reception on Wednesday, June 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Flight American Fusion Restaurant & Bar, a black-owned establishment on York Road. Sam will be there, so make sure you stop by and show your love!
