The Baltimore Association of Black Journalists jump started 2016 with the “BABJ State of the Union” meeting noon Saturday January 30, 2016 at Baltimore Clayworks. A dozen members attended the planning meeting dedicated to: updating chapter members on BABJ 2015, set the tone for BABJ as a whole and plan 2016 events.
The following members were also appointed to the 2016-2018 BABJ board:
Vice President of Print – Andrea K. McDaniels
Vice President of Media-Related Professionals – Maria Morales
Secretary – Talisha Dunn-Square
Treasurer – Shanteé Woodards
Student Representative – Vance Brinkley
Angela Byrd agreed via email to serve as Parliamentarian.
